Landmark College will be showing a screening of the award winning documentary film "Harry & Snowman" on October 14th. Proceeds will benefit Gerda's Equine Rescue, a local 501(c)3 horse rescue in West Townshend, VT.
Follow the true story of a Dutch immigrant Harry DeLeyer and his transformative relationship with a broke down Amish plow horse names Snowman that he rescued off a slaughter truck bound for the glue factory. Harry and Snowman would go on to win the triple crown show jumping, beating the nations blue bloods.
