The Essex Selectboard will be meeting on Monday, October 2 at 7 PM in the Town Offices at 81 Main Street. The agenda includes the following items:
-Public to be heard.
-Interviews will be held for volunteer positions on the Essex Energy Committee. The appointments may be made after an executive session discussion.
-The SB will hear an update on the ETC Next Town Center Planning project from Community Development Director Dana Hanley.
-The SB will review a water model usage fee.
-The SB will review a Sidewalk Impact Fee Study.
-The SB will discuss the winter operations plan.
-The SB will consider the use of FYE2017 funds to finish reconstruction of the police station parking lot and to fund the stormwater capital budget account.
-The SB will consider adopting the revised Conflict of Interest Policy and the revised Rules & Regulations for Orderly Conduct of Business.
-The SB will consider a Selectboard Computer Use Policy.
-The SB will consider proclaiming November 1 to be Extra Mile Day to urge people to “go the extra mile” to make the world a better place.
-The SB will consider a tax stabilization agreement. This may be done in executive session.
-The SB will discuss the results of an exit interview with Ben Gilliam, of the Essex Rescue Community Advisory Board. This may be done in executive session.
-The SB will evaluate the Municipal Manager. This may be done in executive session.
-Approve the minutes for September 11.
-Approve the consent agenda.
