Clothing Drop N' Swap

Past event

Hi all, just a friendly reminder that the absolutely fantastic "Greater Community of Hardwick Clothing Drop'N'Swap" is happening again this weekend, for the 9th year in a row!!

Come by the Hardwick Elementary School, this Friday September 29th, and 'Drop' unwanted or unused clothing and footwear, from 2:30-6:00pm.

Simply label the contents of your bags/boxes, ex: kids, women's, men's, rags, etc...(YES, that's right, we are accepting Rags this year, trying to keep all these unwanted textiles out of our precious landfills.) Please ensure that all donations are in VERY good condition and are CLEAN...unless, of course if they are stained, ripped, stinky, etc...(then they are rags!) Come back to the Hardwick Elementary School the next day, Saturday, September 30th, 10:00am-4:00pm, for the 'Swap', where you are welcome to help yourself to any items that are available.

This wonderful event is completely FREE to ALL and you don't have to 'Drop' in order to 'Swap'!!

That's right...come from Cabot or Calais, Walden or Wolcott, Greensboro or Glover, just COME!!

This is the time to go through the kids drawers & go through your closets; if you haven't worn that skirt or those pants in a year, you probably don't need them...winter jackets, summer outfits, ski pants, shorts and sundresses, work clothes, all sizes of kids clothing...we'll take anything, and we will re-home or re-cycle it all!!

All kinds and sizes of footwear are also welcome: rain boots, sneakers, ski boots, flip flops, etc...you name it!! Just remember, if it isn't in great condition, label it "rags".

This is a very fun and worthwhile event, and we thank the volunteers who help every year, and our sponsor, The Buffalo Mountain Food Co-op and Cafe, in beautiful downtown Hardwick.

We hope to see you there!!!

Call Deborah Hartt 472-5284 for more information. Peace.
