Locally Cured Meats Tasting at Mad River Taste Place

Come and join Bill Cavanaugh, our meat specialist at Mad River Food Hub for a salami and cured meat tasting at the Mad River Taste Place on Saturday 23rd from 9.30 to 3.00pm. Mad River Taste Place is located at 89 Mad River Green.

Bill will talk how the salamis and cured meats are made at the Food Hub and sample some delicious product made by food hub customers. With many of the food hub customers already represented at the Taste Place, having Bill present will be a great opportunity to taste, learn and buy these products being made locally, and get an in-depth understanding of what it takes to bring a USDA inspected product from farm to table. Mad River Food Hub is the only USDA inspected facility in Vermont to produce salamis and dry cured meats. Come and enjoy samples from Babette’s Table, Artisan Meats of Vermont, Picnic Provisions, and Vermont Salumi.
