Are you a pet-lover? Join Pet Food Warehouse, the pet community and your neighbors on Sunday, October 8th at the Champlain Valley Exposition to celebrate all pets large and small. Wag It Forward: A Festival for Pets will provide the whole family with entertainment from 10 am to 5 pm. It all kicks off with the Chase Away 5K at 9 am and is followed by all day demonstrations by DockDogs, 802 Disc Dogs, Waggles, Burlington Obedience Training Club, Upbeat K9, Vermont Police Canine Association and sled dogs of October Siberians. Local vendors and animal welfare and rescue groups will be on-site selling their wares or promoting available pets for adoption. Learn about training, grooming and all things pet while enjoying a beautiful day with family, friends and your leashed pets! Kids can jump in the bounce house, tie-dye bandanas or get tattooed at the temporary tattoo station. Food from Ahli Baba’s Kabob Shop, Dale Boca, Wood Belly Pizza, Island Ice Cream and A-Maize-ing Kettle Corn will keep your bellies full and the beer garden will keep your thirst quenched. Dance to The Grift or take a stroll in our costume contest parade for a chance to win some great prizes. All proceeds from ticket and t-shirt sales will benefit qualified non-profit animal welfare and rescue groups.
