The eggcentric & the eggsquisite meet at the Great Goose Egg Auction—Open Fields School’s biennial fundraiser.

Starting with an elegant Opening Eggshibition during the WRJ First Friday (October 6, 4:30 – 8:00 pm), and continuing on Saturday, October 7 with the 1:00 pm live auction (doors open at 11:30 am), these ovoid works by artists young and old, famous and new-to-the-art-world must be seen to be fully appreciated. This year’s goose egg creations (plus a few ostrich and emu eggs) include painted, drawn, sculpted and otherwise transformed works combining fine art and whimsy, and a nearly ineggsaustible supply of puns.
