The Walden School Board is proposing a revised budget of $2,583,018 for the current fiscal year (2013-14). This represents a decrease of $211,858 from the budget originally approved on Town Meeting Day, and a 6.24% increase in the net Education Spending amount compared to the previous year’s budget.

Voting on this proposed budget by Australian ballot has been scheduled for Tues., Dec. 17 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Town Clerk's office.

An informational meeting on this proposed budget will be held on Mon., Dec. 16 at 6:30 pm at the Walden School.

Absentee ballots may be requested from the Town Clerk’s office until 4:00 pm Mon., Dec. 16.

Walden voters may cast early ballots at the Town Clerk’s office during regular hours, Mon. through Thurs.

Walden residents who are not already registered to vote may submit applications for addition to the checklist at the Town Clerk's office by 5:00 pm Wed., Dec. 11.
