The Governor’s Climate Action Commission is halfway through a series of “public listening sessions” intended to take the public pulse on what kinds of actions are necessary to address the climate crisis. This Thursday at 6PM at St. Albans City Hall, the commission will have its third listening session.
Since not a single session will take place in the Chittenden County, Energy Independent Vermont has rented a bus to make sure Burlington-area Vermonters have their voice heard this Thursday night in St. Albans.
Meet us at 5PM in front of Royall Tyler Theatre at UVM to ride the (free!) Climate Action Bus and have your voice heard at the St. Albans listening session.
Space is limited so RSVP now -- > energyindependentvt.org/bus
P.S. We’ll also be munching on pizza on the way up and sharing best practices for making a great public comment! Let’s make sure the Governor knows we need solutions that match the magnitude of the problem!
