Past event
Dec 14, 2013, 4 to 5:30 PM

Next Saturday, December 14th, @ 4-5:15pm, the Tiny Theatre and Hermit Hill Bookstore will present Poultney's own Sarah Mittlefehldt (Green Mountain College Natural Resource Management Professor), who will give a talk about her recently published book Tangled Roots: The Appalachian Trail and American Environmental Politics. Her book tells the story of the Appalachian Trail's creation. The AT was one of the first in which the National Park Service attempted to create public wilderness space within heavily populated, privately owned lands. Copies of Dr. Mittlefehldt's book will be available for purchase at the event, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Tiny Theatre, and Sarah will be happy to sign your copies! What a perfect Christmas gift.. The talk will take place at the Tiny Theatre at 153 Main St. in Poultney.

The Tiny Theatre is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run community events & activities center. Our mission is to provide affordable entertainment and space for local performance, arts, education, and civic activities.
