Conserving Vermont's Forest Birds
Presented by Green Mountain Audubon Society

Richmond Free Library, Bridge St.
Free and open to the public. Free parking on site.

Vermont's forests provide nesting habitat for a remarkably diverse group of migratory songbirds, but many of these birds are at risk because of habitat loss, climate change, and other threats. Steve Hagenbuch, a conservation biologist at Audubon Vermont, has worked closely with landowners, foresters and municipalities to promote forest management practices that result in high quality nesting habitat.
