The Burlington citywide Neighborhood Planning Associations are organizing a meeting on the Future of Memorial Auditorium, 6:30pm, Contois Auditorium, City Hall, Tuesday Sept. 26. The evening will feature a virtual walk-thru of the facility for about 15 minutes, short talks by Tom Visser, Chair of UVM's Historic Preservation Program, and Alan Abair, former facilities manager for Memorial. The bulk of the time will be open-mic for resident comments on their views in regard to this civic component's future. This is the start of a public process so that citizens can have a voice in the future of this cornerstone building.
