Islands in the Sun Senior Center invites you to our Annual Election, being held on Oct 5 at 6PM. Please join us in electing an active Board so that the Center can continue to offer quality events and classes to the Community.
We currently offer Strength and Balance Training, Yoga, Chair Yoga, Zumba and, coming soon, a modified Zumba Strong - all to keep you fit and healthy. We have a great Bingo every Wednesday evening and almost monthly meals for you to enjoy. In addition, the Center serves as a gathering place for showers, birthdays, family parties, classes and meetings of community groups. As part of our service to the area, we have a weekly food shelf to help our neighbors in a difficult economy.
Your membership fee of $10 will entitle you to all these activities as well as an opportunity to meet new friends, discover new interests, support and actively participate in the greater Alburgh community. Membership is open to anyone aged 50 or older.
Please join us for this important meeting to help us elect the officers who will guide the Center in the coming year. Take part, let your voice be heard and vote for the candidates of your choice. Come and see friends old and new and share in refreshments before the meeting.
