Just back from helping Toby set up her booth at the International Craft Fair at the Essex fairgrounds. Once a year she sells Guatemalan goods for 'Mayan Hands' a weaving/sewing cooperative organized to market goods for them at a fair price. There were lots of amazing items for sale, some non-profit (like Toby's) but lots of high end rugs, jewelry, and clothing from around the world, not seen at your usual craft fair. Also they're doing international foods. Open for school kids only tomorrow, then tomorrow night through Sunday for all. I don't know what the admission charge is but parking is free. Lots of craft fairs this time of year, this one seems quite unique to me, maybe worth the drive to Essex.
