WORDS OUT LOUD is heating up this Fall! For Sunday, September 24, the forecast is for bright sun shining down through divided light windows into the historic Old West Church, highlighting readings by Vermont poets Alison Prine and James Crews.
Come for the reading at 3:00, then mosey down the road afterward to the Kent Museum and chat with the authors and other listeners at a reception among this year's Art at the Kent exhibit, REFUGE. [Books by presenters for sale at the Kent.]

Last Sunday's readings by Jane Shore and Howard Norman were incredibly well received, by somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 listeners! And, like last Sunday, you won't need woolens in the church this Sunday, but you might want to bring a paper fan, make your own breeze, and take in the WORDS floating through the open space.

Alison Prine is the author of STEEL, winner of the 2014 Cider Press Review Book Award, and a finalist for this year's Vermont Book Award (winner to be announced this Saturday at VCFA).

James Crews's most recent book is TELLING MY FATHER, winner of the Cowles Poetry Prize, just released by Southeast Missouri State University this Fall.
