Burlington Progressives Potluck & Meeting Sept. 24

Past event
Sep 24, 2017

Wouldn't it be great if there were a true choice of a progressive political party in our city of Burlington? Wouldn't it be wonderful if it were advocating for a $15 minimum wage, health care for all, safe streets and neighborhoods, community owned utilities, and other practical Progressive ideas to improve our lives?

Not only does such a party exist in the form of the Burlington Progressive Party, but this September is the perfect time to help us grow. Every two years, Burlington Progressives meet to elect a new Steering Committee and discuss issues important to Burlington residents. This year we will be joined by Lt. Governor David Zuckerman! This process is vital for Progressives to grow and continue advancing our issues.

Please come to the Burlington City Committee of the Vermont Progressive Party biannual gathering on September 24, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the McClure Multi-Gen Center at 241 North Winooski Ave. We will begin with a potluck and good conversation!
