Vermont-based folk duo Cricket Blue is inspired by diverse aspects of the American folk tradition: old and current, popular and obscure. Laura Heaberlin and Taylor Smith write songs marked by close-knit harmonies and words about myth, confusion, love, and the ends of things.

The Old Firehouse is at Mountain View Road and Vt. 140 in downtown Tinmouth, between the current firehouse and the Town Office building. Doors will open at 7 PM. There is a suggested donation of $10 to $15, 90% of which goes to the performers. Home made desserts, coffee and tea will be available. Donations for them will help support community activities.
