Many of you know that Harbor Place is operated by Champlain Housing Trust, and the guests are individuals and families who are in transition - the guests usually have no permanent housing and often do not have adequate food. There are usually 50-65 adults and 30-35 children who are guests there each night.
Since they opened, our family has volunteered at Harbor Place; occasionally we reach out to the community. We are always overwhelmed with support.
Our daughter, Lex, is coordinating the 2nd Annual Harvest Meal this year for a 6th grade project. She is receiving a lot of support from her family and The Kearney Family to make this Harvest Meal and Halloween special.
