Stories from a Syrian Refugee Camp: Nina Keck's Firsthand Account of the Humanitarian Crisis
Nina Keck traveled to Amman, Jordan to report on the Syrian refugee crisis. She will share insights about what life is like for many Syrian refugees - those living in refugee camps, those trying to make it outside the camps, the strain on host countries like Jordan, the economic impact of the situation and the process involved in resettlement. She will also explain where the US refugee process is now and whether Rutland will see any more refugee families arriving this year.
The free program is supported in part by the Vermont Humanities Council and is open to all.
