Everyone’s invited to join Newbury and Bradford Elementary Schools for a hike up Tucker Mountain to celebrate the International Day of Peace.

This is a great chance to show support for Bradford and Newbury Elementary Schools and Oxbow’s Honor Students. Plus, it's a good occasion to see Tucker Mountain for yourself and learn more about the pros and cons of Newbury’s proposed purchase of the property.

So… we hope you’ll add your good cheer to the school and community Mountaintop Celebration of Peace Day

JOIN THE FUN!

Newbury and Bradford Elementary Schools and Oxbow Honor Students, PLUS parents, friends, and neighbors from near and far are celebrating the International Day of Peace on the summit of Tucker Mountain Thursday, Sept 21.

Here are the details:
9:00 to 11:00 Community members park at the east end of Tucker Mtn. Road and walk alongside Newbury and Bradford Elementary students as they hike to the summit. Be sure to park in the designated area and not in the school bus loading area.

11:00 Lunch at the top of the mountain. Please bring a bag lunch.

11:30-12:00 Ceremony for International Peace with Oxbow honor students
