Steve Perkins, new president of the Vermont Historical Society, will speak at the Castleton Historical Society dinner on Monday, Sept. 25. Perkins’ talk, at 7 p.m., will follow dinner at 6 p.m. at the "Blue Cat Bistro" in the center of Castleton Village. The $20 dinner (including tip) will feature lasagna or Blue Cat chicken-with-rice, salad, coffee and soft drinks, and apple crisp with ice cream for dessert. All are welcome. There is no charge to attend only the talk.
