Friends of the Hort Farm Workshop

What: Winter Centerpiece
When: Saturday Dec 7, 10-Noon
Where: UVM Horticulture Research Center, 65 Green MT Drive, So Burlington VT 05403

Make a fresh arrangement using aromatic greens and cuttings including ; wine-red dogwood stems, yellow dogwood, winterberry, evergreen holly, rhododendron and fragrant boxwood.
Our instructor is Charlotte Albers, owner of Paintbox Garden Design. www.paintboxgarden.com

Bring a container of your choice that holds water, a pair of pruners and an apron or smock.
Charlotte will bring in more materials, cuttings from her gardens, Oasis garden foam.
She will demonstrate techniques and provide information about favorite plants to consider when designing beds and borders for winter interest.

The fee includes materials, with the exception of your container. Feel free to bring something from your own garden to use or contribute.
