Come join Bennington Free Library's Children's Librarians at the Vermont Fairy Festival in Killington at the Sherburne Memorial Library, Saturday, September 23 from 10am-4pm! The price of admission?? FREE! We ask only that you bring a donation of non-perishable food item or an item for the Humane Society.

With over 20 tents - that's over 20 fairy tales!!- to explore and craft in each one, the afternoon will fly! Find Linda and Chris along with librarians from Williston Public Library in the Dragon Tent!

Join the fun - there will be Storytelling, Sword Fighting and Food Concessions; there will also be a Storywalk and local artists displaying their creations. Attend a discussion on the original fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen.
This event will be held rain or shine. We hope to encourage visitors to become more aware of the wonderful services their own public libraries offer as we celebrate libraries, families and lifelong learning!
