Greetings neighbors,
This Friday begins a 8-week adventure learning about plant-based medicine, outdoor adventure, magic, fairies and herbal justice. WHAT IS HERBALISM? Herbalism is simply the use of plants to nourish and heal. Children will learn to listen to the plants, experience plant magic, practice their intuition and create herbal remedies. We will also cover the basics of traditional medicinal systems throughout the world and the relationship of herbalism and social justice. Magic, potions and fairies will appear in every class.
Date: Every Friday, September 22nd to November 10th from 2 to 4 pm
Location: We will be meeting at Wild Faith Herb Farm and Bread and Butter Farm, both in South Burlington.
Age: 6-12 years old
Cost: $20 per class plus a $5 supplies fee depending on the remedy made for that class. $140 if you pay for all 8 classes at the first class. (financial assistance available based on request)
