Organizing Your DNA Test Results September 23
Ads for genealogical DNA testing promise simple answers to tough questions, but the reality is very different and one can be overwhelmed by a flood of information. Ed McGuire will go over what the various tests can teach you and how to analyze results. He will also go over ways to structure the data you've collected. If you intend to use your results to contact genetic cousins, and you haven’t gotten a handle on all the data, this class should be a big help. This is the first of three talks on organizing DNA test data.

Beginning Italian Genealogy Research September 30
This new class is designed especially for beginners in Italian Genealogy. As you may know it can be difficult getting started on your search. The class will cover basics in research methods and show you the best practices for beginning your family tree. We will start with the present and work backwards to the past using immigration, naturalization, census and vital records in the U.S. and Italy. A power point presentation with several actual examples will be used to illustrate how to begin a successful search for your Italian ancestors.
