On Wednesday, September 20th at 6:30PM Donna Anderson of Mettowee Mill Garden Center will present "Putting Your Garden to Bed" sponsored by Whitman's Feed Store and the UVM Extension Master Gardeners Bennington Chapter . The program will be held at Whitmans 1873 Vt. Rt.67E in North Bennington.

Donna Anderson has been with the Mettowee Mill Nursery in Dorset Vermont for 26 years. When Mettowee first started they only had the nursery and greenhouses; today it has greatly expanded its offerings. As the Nursery began to grow and evolve it was clear that there was a need for garden maintenance. Donna, who initially worked in sales, learned she would rather spend her days in beautiful gardens than indoors. As manager of the garden maintenance department, she is now on the road from early spring to late fall working with property owners to customize schedules for opening, organizing and maintaining their gardens throughout the year.
