Dr. Don Orvis will be speaking at the First Baptist Church of Bristol on Sunday, October 1st at 10:15 a.m. Don grew up in Vermont in Bristol and Brandon and now lives in Tempe, Arizona with his wife. They have 3 grown children and 2 grandsons. In 2009 he was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Castleton Universtiy where he graduated.

Over the years he has done many things including chapel speaker for 10 years for the Denver Broncs. He has written and published many articles, and founded and was president and CEO of Face to Face International for 20 years. They prepared many short term mission groups who served in many areas of the world. These are just a few of the things that he has done. He has his doctorate in Management and Leadership and is at present working as a Christian Fundraising Consultant.
