Sense of Place

The public is invited to the Green Mountain Monastery in Greensboro this Saturday, September 16 to hear a Sense of Place presentation by a group of UVM graduate students. The presentation is from 2-4 p.m. The team of students, who worked and studied with Walter Poleman at UVM, will present a Field Naturalist Ecological Planning study they completed this summer at the Monastery. Walter Poleman is an ecologist teaching at UVM, specializing in landscape natural history and ecosystem geography. The presentation will include maps as well as aerial and game photos. A walk on the Monastery grounds will be conducted after the talk, for those who are interested. Carpooling is encouraged, as well as boots for possibly wet paths.
