Governor Scott has expressed his commitment to meeting the Paris Climate Accord and Vermont's renewable energy goals. However, the latest emissions report shows that Vermont's greenhouse emissions have gone up not down. The time for bold new policies to keep our State on track is now.
The VT Climate Action Commission is hosting a series of public scoping sessions throughout Vermont. The one closest to the Islands is Thursday, September 28th, 6:00-8:00 PM, City Hall Auditorium, 100 North Main Street in St. Albans.
Please attend and tell the Climate Action Commission that you support clean energy and solutions to climate change.
