Pollinator Adventure and Ecology Exploration with two local beekeepers!

Ages: 6-12 years old

Hi there Neighbors!

Do you have any kids that are interested in insects and flowers? Join Gus Buchanan and Kenzie Mcdonald in an exploration with bees and our local pollinators. Gus, a natural beekeeper of 17 years and community educator, will invite participants to experience the bees he works with and interact with the ecology at rock point. Kenzie, an herbalist, herb farmer and novice beekeeper, will lead a pollinator plant walk and hands-on activities to integrate our understanding of pollinators and their role in the environment.

Cost: $20 per participant, financial assistance available based on request. Sibling discounts available.
