ATTENTION. PREVIOUSLY POSTED STAR GAZING EVENT WILL BE HELD SATURDAY NIGHT DUE TO CLOUDY FORECAST ON Friday.
The Shrewsbury Conservation Commission presents
A Night of Star Gazing!
Gaze up at the universe through high powered telescopes guided by experienced star gazers! Enjoy the beauty of the Milky Way enlarged. Relax in a quiet dark setting overlooking vegetable fields and meadows.

The Green Mountain Astronomers will be sharing interesting sights of the Milky Way Galaxy on Friday, September 15th at 7:30 pm NOW ON SATURDAY!!!at 1782 Russellville Road, in the field opposite the Orseman home. See star clusters, glowing clouds of interstellar gas, and the remnants of exploded stars, as well as the planet Saturn. This group of experienced astronomers will share their equipment, including a telescope 18 inches in diameter. All ages are welcome!

Bring your own binoculars and telescopes if you like, chairs and/or blankets to lie on or cuddle under, and a flashlight. Please dress warmly as even a warm September day can turn chilly at night. Arrive a little before dark to get seated by 7:30 pm. Parking is available across the street. Look for red lights!

Important, if rain or clouds cover the skies on Sept 15th, it will hopefully be clearer the next night, Sept 16 – same time and place. Check to make sure the event is on by contacting Weezie at vtzippity@gmail.com or 492-3327 or go to the Green Mountain Astronomers face book page.
