In this field-based workshop series, join master photographer and naturalist Sean Beckett on explorations combining composition, light, exposure, and nature. Photograph flowers, forest, birds and beetles, producing evocative images while investigating local ecology. Use your camera to become a better naturalist, and develop a naturalist’s eye to become a better photographer. Gain the technical and artistic foundation to capture outstanding photographs in the Vermont woods. Each of these three evening workshops will meet at a different site around the Waterbury/Stowe valley and focus on different types of subjects and skills. Ideal for local photographers of all skill levels.
Workshops will meet at 5:30 at the following locations:
Sept 28 - Wiessner Woods, Stowe
Oct 5 - Waterbury Waterworks - meet at Hunger Mountain's Waterbury Trail head on Sweets Farm Rd
Oct 12 - GMC Headquarters, Waterbury Center
