Saturday Sept. 23rdth, 1:00-3:00PM at The East End Park, below the Park and Ride in Woodstock
For September we will be highlighting the efforts of Rock Art Brewery and Suncommon who have teamed up to create “Sunrocked IPA,” a beer made using solar panels installed by Suncommon. We will be using the beer as a way to highlight the many uses and importance of converting our electricity towards solar and other renewables. This will also be an opportunity to highlight the many potential uses of the new East End Park. This is a free event, open to the public, sponsored by Sustainable Woodstock and Suncommon. Sustainable Woodstock will be providing light appetizers at no cost and Suncommon will be serving samples of beer in the lower part of the park. SunRocked IPA, Vermont’s First Solar Powered Beer. Nice honey gold body, with a balance of malt and hop flavors. Hop flavors of tropical fruits, berries & citrus. (6% ABV – 60 IBU). It’s a Limited Run so get yours now!
Green Drinks are free social gatherings that Sustainable Woodstock has been hosting every month since Dec. 2014. Green Drinks is an international phenomenon, started in the United Kingdom in 1989, now in over 600 places. It is an informal gathering of people interested in environmental issues who meet periodically to exchange news and ideas over appetizers and to highlight different sustainability initiatives in the area.
