Quiet Valley Quilters Guild presents the 24th Annual Bennington Quiltfest this weekend at Mount Anthony Union Middle School, 747 East Road in Bennington. More than 100 new quilts will be on display on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

In addition, the show includes quilting demonstrations, 25 Challenge Quilts representing the board game Monopoly, Special Exhibit, 18 vendors, Consignment Boutique, Quilt Raffle, and People’s Choice awards.

Award-wining quilter Michelle Renee Hiatt is the featured quilter and lecturer. On both days she will give a free lecture at 1:00 p.m.

Quiltfest Café is open both days for breakfast and lunch. Admission is $7 (children 12 and under free). The show is handicap accessible and there is plenty of free parking. For more information, visit www.benningtonquiltfest.com
