Castleton, Vermont Trough the Eyes of 19th Century Painter, James Hope. Please join Don and Carol Thompson at the Castleton Free Library on Thursday, September 14th at 7:00pm for an informative and interesting program on painter, James Hope. The Thompsons will be focusing on his life and accomplishments. The program will include photos of his work as well as contemporaneous photos of the village of Castleton. Light refreshments will be served after the program.
