Can acupuncture play a role in treating of chronic pain? Learn the results of a study of 156 Vermont Medicaid patients with chronic pain who were treated by 28 acupuncturists in three regions of Vermont — January - May 2017. This study was funded by the Vermont legislature in the 2016 opioid bill to assess acupuncture as an adjunct therapy for chronic pain treatment.
