On Tuesday, September 19th (CORRECTED DATE) at 6:30 pm, Robert Fleming will describe recent events at Malayaka House (MH), the small Entebbe Uganda orphanage he founded in 2005. MH is delightfully different than the stereotype view of orphanages that is prevalent in the United States. The public is invited to attend this event. Desserts and beverages will be served. The United Church is located at the corner of Elm and Pleasant streets,
Robert traveled to Uganda and became aware of the urgent needs of ill and abandoned children. An unlikely activist, he was inspired to found MH. Today, that home in Entebbe provides love, shelter, education, nutrition, medical care, safety and opportunity to a beautiful family of about 45 children. This is possible due to support from friends around the world and, in particular, from friends in the greater Ludlow area. MH's story is amazing and no one tells it better than Robert. Come and be amazed.
