Banned books week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. It will be held this year from September 24th through September 30th. In this spirit, the Jeudevine Memorial Library will be showing a film based on one of the books that historically people have banned or tried to ban many times. The book that it is based on is currently a best seller on Amazon even though it was originally released in 1949.

There will be cider and popcorn. Bring a sandwich if you'd like!
