Everyone is invited to join us for The Children's Room 27th Annual Barn Dance, Sunday the 10th of September, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Beard’s Barn in Waterbury Center at 1601 Barnes Hill Road. Look for signs along Route 100 directing you to the barn. It is a great pleasure for us to offer this Fun Family Event every year to the families in our communities as a way bring our community together and to raise funds that enable us to continue on our mission.

This is a fantastic event for all ages. It includes refreshments, live music, hayrides, tug-of-war and other old fashion games, crafts, face painting, and dancing until the cows come home. With a purchase of admission, you will automatically be entered in our raffle. We will also be running a fabulous silent auction at the event with great prizes such as museum passes, recreation memberships, restaurant/lodging gift certificates, and so much more. You need not be present to win the raffle. No need to wait on the weather report! This is a “Rain or Shine” event as we have many indoor and outdoor activities planned. Included will be The Best Silent Auction ever with items from over 30 local businesses and individuals.

In recognition of the Fall Harvest we are also encouraging everyone to join in a new tradition! Please feel free to join in our “Pie Share” Everyone is invited to bring their favorite Fall Harvest Pie to share!! Apple, Pumpkin, Berry, Rhubarb or any flavor you chose!
