We’ve been watching the weather forecast like hawks this week in anticipation of tomorrow’s Woofstock: Walk for the Animals. It’s looking better and better each day and while we trust our local meteorologists, we did a little work and came up with a forecast of our own.
Here’s what we predict:
A rush of humans and dogs into downtown Middlebury causing a flurry of excitement and smiles from passersby.
A gust of activity around the town Pool with dogs of all shapes and sizes crashing into the chilly blue water.
The rumbling of laughter and camaraderie…the largest gathering of animal lovers in one place in Addison County this year.
A light wind that fills the air with the smell of mouth-watering veggie burgers, burgers and hot dogs, causing an undeniable urge for an ice cold A&W Root Beer.
And sun shining down on an organization that serves the homeless animals of the region who so desperately need and deserve a second chance at happiness.
Does the forecast appeal to you? If so, please join us tomorrow at Woofstock 2017!
P.S. You can register at the event if you don’t have time to sign up in advance! Event details here: https://www.firstgiving.com/homewardboundanimals/2017-woofstock
