Greetings Folks,
The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) will be conducting one more outreach event on the development of the Winooski River Tactical Basin Plan at the Steele Community Room, Waterbury Municipal Offices (28 N Main St., Waterbury) at 6 – 8 pm on Thursday September 21, 2017. This event is for the communities of Duxbury, Montpelier, Waterbury, Middlesex and Worcester.

The Tactical Basin Plan is being developed by the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources and its purpose is to use scientific data, repeatable assessments, and prioritized project implementation to guide future actions in water quality improvement. One key factor in the planning process is soliciting input from stakeholders, such as municipalities. If you are interested in learning more about the Basin Planning process and what is included in the plan, please come! We are particularly looking for input from communities about what is important to them to be included in the plan. This is your opportunity for input! Particular actions included in the plan will be eligible in the future for Clean Water Initiative funding through the ANR.
