Greetings Neighbors,

This week’s Richmond Farmers Market should be a lot of fun with live music from Lyon’s Disciple playing roots music befitting a Vermont setting. Rock, Reggae, Country, Blues, Jazz; enjoy at your leisure. We’ll also have face painting for kids and kids at heart presented by REAP Construction Fresh, local food, and amazing crafts from local artisans! Friday September 8th from 3:00-7:00PM at Volunteer’s Green in the village, rain or shine.

KIDS & COPS DAY! The Richmond Police Department, the Richmond Fire Department and Richmond Rescue will again host Kids and Cops Day at the Richmond Farmers' Market on Volunteers Green. Meet area police officers, fire fighters and emergency medical technicians. Senior Patrol Officer Brett Lindemuth from the Police Department is looking forward to meeting kids of all ages, answering questions and showing you the cruiser. Harland Stockwell from the Fire Department will let you climb aboard a fire truck and local EMTs will guide you on a tour of the ambulance. At 5:00 there will be a K-9 unit demonstration on the field. Come and meet Senior Trooper, Brittany Barone and her K-9 partner. Experience the skills of a highly trained team.

SunCommon will have a booth highlighting solar energy for homes and businesses, weather permitting they will have a solar power Bounce House as well!

LOCAL MEAT & CHEESE
Fullem Farm will be offering local, pasture raised pork.
Moultrop Farm has grass fed local beef & raspberry jam
Rolling Meadows Farm is bringing grass fed steaks, roasts, and more

FRESH PRODUCE
The Last Resort Farm has certified organic sweet corn, apples, pears, elderberries, garlic, onions, tomatoes, ginger, and more!
Home Farm is featuring carrots, onions, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, red potatoes, Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette, apple cider, green peppers & corn!
Old Road Farm will be bringing greens, arugula, radishes, squash, spicy kimchi and much more.
Lalumiere Farm has tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, greens, broccoli, cabbage, and fresh made salads, salsa & more!.
Stone Beach Farm has tomatoes, cucumbers, collards, cut flowers, herbs, potatoes & more!

Goog’s Pizza handmade pizza with local meat and veggies
Kadrics is serving hot burkes, baklava, veggie rolls and stuffed cabbage.
Hestoll Icelandics is bringing home made delicious bagels.
Pie Empire has handmade meat pies: veggie curry, steak & ale, buffalo chicken & more!

The Richmond Farmers Market is open from 3:00pm-7:00pm this Friday on Volunteers Green in Richmond. Come and meet your Local Growers and Buy Local. Don't forget, the Richmond Farmers Market accepts EBT, Debit, and Credit cards. For our EBT customers, we can double up to $10 per market day of EBT buying power with coupons!
