The Latin Dance Party is a unique international event and very fun! You do not need to be a dancer to enjoy it! However, if the 9 piece Latin band music inspires you...you could become an expert dancer of Tango (instructions by Bandoneonist and tango organizer Hugo Martinez Cazon), Salsa or Merengue. Latin inspired appetizers (including authentic Argentina empanadas) and desserts will be served, and Shelburne Farms will host a cash bar. There will be an exciting silent auction!

This event is a benefit for the 2014 Hands to Honduras-Tela humanitarian service project of the construction by H2H-T volunteers of 'a first' Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Tela Hospital. Currently, a small 14 ft. x 12 ft. room is being used to house newborn and preemie babies. Originally designed to hold three babies, often there are as many as 20 newborn babies in this over-crowded space. H2H-T also hopes to supply the necessary medical equipment. This Neonatal Unit will be one of the most important projects H2H-T will ever construct, and its success depends on the funds made from this fundraiser. Please join us on September 13!
