Ready to have fun in the river, and help keep Montpelier a safe and beautiful place to live? Join the Friends of the Winooski River on Saturday Sept 9th from 8:30 to noon to clean up the Winooski, North Branch, and Steven's Branch Rivers! We'll meet at Montpelier City Hall at 8:30 to fuel up on bagels and coffee, get site assignments, and carpool to the cleanup sites. Children under 18 are welcome, but should be supervised by an adult companion at all times. Wear clothes that can get wet and muddy, and closed-toed shoes with grippy soles.
