The Craftsbury Farmers' Market and the Craftsbury Energy Committee are hosting an electric vehicle event at the market on Saturday, 9/2, 10 AM - 1 PM , on the Common. Take in all the locally produced fresh & prepared foods and artisan products and get a look at, and information about current electric cars and bikes, Nissan's $10,000 Leaf model discount, Federal tax credits, and a VEC rebate!

Representatives from Drive Electric Vermont, ZoomBikes and Vermont Electric Coop will be there to answer your questions and show you the cars and bikes!
 
Especially enticing is the Nissan Leaf offer of $10,000 off the MSRP till the end of September. You can also take another $7,500 off on a Federal tax credit. Vermont Electric Coop is also offering a $250 rebate on the Leaf, leaving the net purchase price around $12,500!
