Craftsbury Death Café

Aug 31, 2017, 6:30 to 8 PM

Join us at the Craftsbury Public Library this Thursday August 31 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, for Craftsbury is joining the world-wide Death Café movement.

Following the model developed by Jon Underwood (based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz), a Death Café is an opportunity for people to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. The goal is to “increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.”

This is not an end-of-life planning event, bereavement group or grief counseling. We hope that you will come with an open mind, prepared to discuss the topic of death with strangers in a safe and respectful environment.
