TOWN OF WOODBURY NOTICE

The Woodbury Selectboard will hold a hearing on Monday, January 13, 2013 6:30 PM at the Town Clerk’s Office on Route 14 in South Woodbury, to hear public comments on the proposed Town Plan prepared by the Woodbury Planning Commission and submitted to the Selectboard. The proposed Plan is a statement of the objectives, policies and programs of the Town to guide future growth and development of land, public services and facilities, to protect the environment, and also addresses other components of Municipal Plans under 24 VSA Section 4382. The proposed plan is organized as follows: Chapter 1, A Statistical Profile of Woodbury; Chapter 2, The Land and its Resources; Chapter 3, Municipal Resources; Chapter 4, Transportation; Chapter 5, Education; Chapter 6, Housing; Chapter 7, Energy; Chapter 8, Economy; Chapter 9, Land Use; Chapter 10, Regional Issues; Chapter 11, Safe and Affordable Child Care; Appendix A, Woodbury Lakes and Ponds Study; Appendix B, Maps. Copies of the proposed Plan are available for review at the Woodbury Town Clerk’s Office in South Woodbury, Vermont.
