The daily forecasts concern temperature, pressure, humidity, sunshine, clouds and wind. But as accustomed as we are to these instrument readings, we don’t often have the opportunity to take in the more fundamental and global principles and processes that are being measured and don’t often hear about what forces actually drive and influence the climate and the local weather. This talk is geared toward the non-scientist looking for a thorough overview of the forces and principles that drive the climate and the weather.
