Celebrate 50 years of business with the Hackett family! Let's kick off the 50th apple season with Hackett's Orchard, Vermont Land Trust, and South Hero Land Trust at a special celebratory event on September 2. Take a wagon ride through the orchard with Ron Hackett and his grandson, Devin Plumley, and learn about various aspects of apple growing in Vermont. Then meet Celia Hackett and her daughter Deb Plumley, at learn about the farm store, washing/sorting room, and the bakery. Enjoy seasonal refreshments from the orchard and learn how this multi-generational farm has grown and adapted over the last 50 years.
