I love to see the "We Celebrate Democracy/Civil Rights For All" banner flying over Main Street.
I believe our big job is to build a non-violent "True Democracy For All People Movement". The banner is like a flag for that movement.
Rally 'round the banner. The Fire Company will hang it over Main Street in Brattleboro on Sunday, September 3, from 8 to 9 am. Democracy is under attack. Let's stand up to the forces of corporate tyranny and fascism. If we don't, who will? Come out in public and show your support for democracy by taking part in this positive nonviolent public action. I hope I will see you there.
