PARTY - Saturday, September 9th - Come celebrate the purchase of Mad River Park!
The Mad River Valley Recreation District would like to thank the community! The people of Moretown, Fayston, Waitsfield and Warren voted to contribute to the purchase price for the fields along with 200 plus individuals from those towns plus Waterbury. Many second home owners donated as well...what a wonderful outpouring of support!
ALL DAY EVENTS - ALL AGES PARTY
There will be a soccer jamboree and a lacrosse demo between 9am and 3pm at the Mad River Park. Adult sports including Old Folks Football/Soccer and Mad River Disc starting at 3pm.
From 3pm to 7pm listen to the sounds of Sabouyouma (afro funk) and Big Ragged Shack (a combination of local bands). Yak it to me, the Hot Dog Guy and Luiza's Pierogis, Sweet Spot, Noah's Fizzy and Cornerstone be in the food and beer tent.
Parking available at Cabot Creamery and Waitsfield Telecom with shuttle buses running from 3pm to 7pm.
